A type of “safety account”...

Enter the savings vehicle of the insurance companies, the ANNUNITY. All you have to do is pick up your paper and see one ad after another extolling this and other virtues of the annuity.  Then you are confronted with, another article warning the reader of some kind of hidden “danger” with this investment. You ask yourself. “What is the truth about what I am reading…”Is an annuity a good investment or not for my financial portfolio”?

Many people also now own a fixed indexed annuity, yet few are sure how their interest is credited.
