East Valley Adult Resources has been dedicated to serving older adults in our East Valley communities since 1979. We provide a full continuum of programs and services aimed at independence with dignity as older adults navigate the sometimes-challenging journey of aging.
One of our Strategic Plan priorities is to, “Develop our volunteer program to foster greater community engagement and enhance recruitment, training, retention and recognition.” With this in mind, we were recently honored to be accepted by the ASU Lodestar Center and the Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism to be part of the Service Enterprise Initiative. Through this nationwide initiative, we are receiving outstanding technical assistance and training to become certified as a Points of Light nonprofit as we transform our volunteer management practices for high impact results.
