APACHE JUNCTION ACTIVE ADULT CENTER
JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This position is under the supervision of the Apache Junction Center Manager.  This position is responsible for the transportation of center participants to their home, medical and shopping.  Also responsible for the general care and cleanliness of the center van.

REPORTS TO:
Center Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Transport participants to their home from the center, medical appointments or shopping.
2. Accept voluntary donations.
3. Maintain and clean center van(s)
4. Be alert to changes in behavior of clients and report verbally or in writing to center manager for attention.
5. Prepare and maintain transportation records for submission to Center Manager for Monthly reports.
6. Be available to back up morning van driver when needed.

Perform any other related activities as needed or directed by the Center Manager for Monthly reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with people of various age groups and backgrounds.  Good organization skills.  Flexibility to respond to a variety of tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Arizona Driver's License and copy of Arizona Driving Record.  Physical examination required.
First Aid & CPR and Food Handlers Card.

20-25 Hours per week / $7.50 per hour
