Imagine... you are a 79-year old woman who has recently lost your husband. Your children live in other states. You are living more and more within the confines of your home, missing medical appointments, dependent on the kindness of friends for transportation... you lack the means to leave your home. Transportation would give you independence.
EVAR has been serving the community for 32 years and continues to strive to not just meet the needs, but to positively affect the fabric of the community.
The current staff of over 80 dedicated and caring persons provides services through a network of senior centers and community services. In addition the organization is a partner in a senior housing complex, sponsors East Valley RSVP and provides alternative transportation services in four communities.
